Sadly some of the good city fan sites seem to have disappeared but I recommend a visit to Bristol City - the Bright City Life, The Bristol City Band, The InCider, Bristol City Mad Messageboard, Over The Gate, Zider Reds and the rather good BBC Bristol City site
Soccerworld has lots of stuff about local non-League football, also unfortunately some stuff about the other (recently relegated!) league team in Bristol (avert your eyes!)

Football Association of Ireland 
Sadly, the Republic did not qualify for the 2006 World Cup. The top four countries in Group 4 (Europe) drew in eleven games against each other. Ireland lost to France in the twelth game which means they did not get through. We shall have to wait now for Euro 2008 in Austria & Switzerland. Details of the preliminary rounds will appear on the UEFA site in due course.
